SAPSN is a coalition of civil society organisations, trade unions, social movements and other institutions that work together to promote justice, equality and people’s power across Southern Africa. SAPSN challenges corporate-driven globalisation, economic injustice and neoliberal policies by advocating pro-people socio-economic alternatives at national, regional and global levels. The network’s mission is to mobilise regional solidarity, strengthen the capacities of its members, and support people-based regional cooperation and integration, particularly in the fight against global trade injustices, the debt crisis, and poverty. The network envisages a Southern Africa that is economically, environmentally and socially sustainable and committed to transformative social change.
