Intercultural Development Agency and representative for Eastern Africa Workcamps Association (EAWANET)

EAWANET is a regional network of workcamp and youth exchange organisations that work to promote volunteerism, intercultural exchange, sustainable development, and peacebuilding across Eastern Africa. To enhance regional cooperation, solidarity, and livelihood security, EAWANET facilitates the exchange of information, skills, human resources, and experiences among its member organisations.

Intercultural Development Agency (IDA)

IDA is an NGO committed to empowering underserved communities through environmentally sustainable development. IDA aims to combat food insecurity, adapt to climate change and improve child nutrition by promoting climate-smart agriculture, including organic farming, renewable energy, irrigation systems and green growth initiatives. IDA also provides economic opportunities for young people, equipping them with the necessary skills and income.

Mercy Child Care International (MCCI)

Mercy Child Care Ministry (MCCM)

MCCM is a Christian NGO dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and strengthening families in crisis. It identifies children living on the streets or in slums and provides them with a safe home, basic necessities, emotional support and spiritual guidance through a family-style rehabilitation centre. The organisation provides families with life skills and financial independence through microloans, business training and home construction, with the ultimate goal of family reunification and long-term sustainability. MCCM has launched its school and medical centre.

Community Hive Organisation (CHO)

CHO is a grassroots, youth-led NGO that improves the quality of life for vulnerable older people, children, and orphans by providing humanitarian aid, conducting social research, and engaging in advocacy. This support includes health and medical care (particularly for those affected by HIV/AIDS), economic empowerment and the distribution of essential items.
