Lucha is a non-partisan, non-violent, horizontal citizens’ movement that campaigns for a new, united, free, peaceful and prosperous Congo, where its people can achieve human dignity and social justice by exercising their civic power. Lucha defines strategic fronts annually to carry out actions. These included security and an end to massacres in the Beni region, civic education of the population, and improving the basic social needs of the Congolese. Non-violence and responsibility are fundamental principles underpinning their actions.

Filimbi is a pro-democracy and civil society movement that campaigns against poor governance and human rights abuses, demanding respect for the constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Association Espoire is a faith-based NGO dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Espoire’s work focuses on providing humanitarian support to orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as running empowerment programmes for women and young people.
