Association des Enfants et Jeunes travailleurs de Cote d'Ivoire (AEJT)

The AEJTCI is a non-political organisation whose members are children and young people working in the informal sector. Its main objective is to improve the living and working conditions of children and young people and combat exploitation. The AEJTCI promotes and advocates for children’s rights and protection, literacy, capacity building for members and associations, and IGAs (income-generating activities).

Communautè Abel

The Communauté Abel is an international cooperative that aims to give dignity to the most vulnerable people. The organisation’s primary focus is education, achieved through cultural initiatives, counselling services, educational programmes and professional training. The organisation provides housing and opportunities for social reintegration through vocational training for juvenile offenders. It additionally provides food, basic healthcare and preventive assistance, as well as medication for common diseases.

Réseau Action, Justice et Paix (RAJP)

The RAJP is an NGO that aims to promote justice and peace in the Ivory Coast by upholding the principles of transitional justice: the right to truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence. The RAJP also strengthens the resilience of women and girls to the effects of climate change and related challenges, such as limited access to land, by providing training, digital technology and empowerment. Finally, the RAJP is deeply committed to combating fake news, hate speech and other forms of disinformation that threaten social cohesion.

Observatoire Ivoirien des Droits de l'Homme (OIDH)

The OIDH is an NGO whose goal is to protect, defend and promote human rights, as well as to inform citizens about their rights. The OIDH investigates human rights violations in the Ivory Coast and publishes reports on them, while also conducting awareness-raising missions, workshops and advocacy actions.

Confederation des organisation de victimes des crises ivoiriennes (COVICI)

COVICI is an NGO whose project aims to strengthen social cohesion by providing psychosocial care. It provides survivors with access to professional, structured mental health support. By producing a training manual on psychosocial assistance, COVICI is paving the way for the government and other civil society groups to adopt and replicate its approach. COVICI’s ultimate goal is to reshape the framework of transitional justice in the Ivory Coast.
